Very poor service! The bartender tries to deceive! Security bar as well as the barman! I was stolen from the counter 5 bucks !! This is very frankly disgusting! I will never go back there to have a drink! Only to record a video !!! And this bartender must go! I'll try to make her a photo.
Everything was AMAZING besides the coleslaw, in my opinion. Will definitely be returning next year!
Went to get a drink and the sign said seat yourself, so we sat at a table and waited about 10 minutes, expecting to wait a bit because it's Friday and it was picking up a bit. We then went to the bar so they would notice we wanted to order. The lady at the bar noticed us and sort of half said 'be right with you.' 20 minutes went by as we sat with our cards ready, and they would glance at us and move on. There were lots of staff, one guy kept just standing around. We were completely ignored and we ended up leaving for the bar at the beginning of the pier.
After spending an evening here with a party of 5 we had over $100 bar tab, drinks only. After we paid the bill the bartender began asking us "is that honestly the tip you are leaving". We looked at each other dumbfounded and said yes. A couple minutes later security came up and said "I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Not once did the bartenders come and ask us if we needed more drinks, we had to flag them down or wait until they were finished having personal conversations amongst themselves behind the bar. They were lucky they got over a $10 tip from us to begin with. I'm from out of state so I'm not sure how stuff works in Maine but I have never in my life heard of anyone getting kicked out of an establishment because the bartenders didn't get the tip they wanted.
No service. Waited at the entrance, the bar. Other groups came from I don't know where and were seated. No signage indicating to seat ourselves or where to order from. Crew members all over the place. The beach is crowded yet only a dozen or so people in the restaurant, I can see why. This place is a waste of prime real estate.
