Endroit charmant! Service impeccable! tranquillité!
The owner tried to call us but we weren't available. There was a voicemail apologizing and requesting a call back. We've called back twice since that voicemail and have not been able to reach the owner.
It's a family owned establishment, the his Mike was great, we were there for no longer then10 minutes and was offered an upgrade to a better room with a balcony, the inside of the Rebekah inn was beautiful with its rustic surroundings antique furniture and decor, waking up every morning to the sounds and smells of the ocean made for a romantic retreat for me and my new wife, also offered us a will rounded continental breakfast complimentary coffee, we do plan on going back every year for our anniversary I would go on to say it's a hidden gem amongst the inns and hotels, a must see.
Our stay here was an absolute nightmare. We ended up having to sleep in our rental car!! This place was really nice and clean. When we checked in the staff was friendly. However, you can hear every step someone makes at night. The doors and locks are extremely loud and creaky. You feel bad moving at all at night. The bathroom is in the hallway so you have to make noise. Anyway the main story is about the neighbors above us in room 77 were stomping and pacing all night from above 11pm to about 2am (when we decided to give up and sleep in our cars). We were provided numbers to call when we checked in. We called both numbers multiple times and no one answered to help. We wanted to go confront the person but as we stood outside the door we heard crying and cursing. So, we decided that person was probably not safe to talk to. Our neighbors beside us were clearing awake complaining as well. We were on our anniversary trip in Boston/Portland. This was our next to last night. We had to spend the next day at a normal Hilton hotel recovering from the lack of sleep. So not only did we lose 1 nights rest but we lost the next day as well. I'll never stay in a B&B like this ever again.
Was a great visit got upgraded to the 3rd floor which overlooked the ocean.. staff was very nice a d the place was very clean.. we will be coming back soon
